Judi Quilici Timmcke holds masters' degrees in Dietetics and Exercise Physiology from the University of Northern Colorado and a B.S. from the University of Wi-Madison. She was in private practice as a clinical nutritionist for 12 years in Colorado, including 2 years for the University of Colorado-Boulder's Human Performance Lab.
For Q-Tech, she presently operates as a technical consultant for companies in the dietary supplement industry. She has been appointed as a Scientist for AMC Cancer Center in Denver, Colorado, supporting their nutrition research. She is presently a member of the American Dietetic Association. She also writes nutrition articles for magazines, completed the book, New Nutrients Against Cancer and a second with Dr. Tom Slaga on Calcium D-Glucarate. She has instructed Physician CME and credited chiropractor courses on dietary supplement research and has presented to the Jamaican Medical Association. In 2002, she wrote the Tae Bo instructor manual and instructed at their certification camps.
She has worked for Weider Nutrition International as Vice-President of Research and Product Development for Specialty Markets and other companies such as Rexall Showcase International and Amrion. She presently formulates unique products for doctor, health food, mass, multi-level and direct mail markets. She has secured for companies exclusive and patented ingredients. She currently speaks on different television and radio programs. She did speak on various nutrition topics for Channel 29 (FOX) news in Florida for 2 years and on Channel 4 for Utah Living in Salt Lake City.
In Colorado, she taught college nutrition, biology, anatomy and physiology for 4 years and lectured on nutrition and exercise physiology for various associations. She instructed nutrition in low-income areas of Chicago, for the Mayor's Office on Senior Citizens and Handicapped and on Indian reservations for the Wisconsin Department of Health and Human Services. She has also consulted nationally under the NCAA and President's Council on Physical Fitness evaluating low-income nutrition programs. |
